Dominic sat up with such a jolt it was as if he had been struck by lightning. He glared at Jerry while his cheeks turned scarlet.
'What is it Jerry?' Dominic asked, trying to keep the growl out of his voice. It was obvious that he wasn't too thrilled at his brother for interrupting his time with Destiny.
Jerry shifted uncomfortably on the spot a few meters away from the two of them. His hair was the same sandy color as Dominic's but he was thin and short by comparison.
'Er...well I've got a message from someone. A friend of yours.' Jerry mumbled, 'Marina the Naiad.'
'Yeah? What did she want?' Dominic asked with a yawn and stretched.
'She said that shes in trouble and the whole camp may be destroyed if you don't help right now.'
Dominic stared at Jerry blankly before slowly turning to Destiny.

Destiny stood up and stretched with a yawn before reaching her hand out to Dominic.
"I guess there ain't no rest for the wicked, huh? Why don't we ever get a moment to just... be normal? It seems as if we're always in the middle of some battle."
Destiny smiled broadly, "I kind of like it that way! Let's get a move on, babe. We've got to save the camp... again."

Dominic shook his head with disbelief, but couldn't help smiling despite everything. This stuff happened way too frequently.
'Saving the day with my girlfriend. I couldn't ask for a better date.' He said before turning to Jerry who was still shuffling nervously on the spot.
'Lead the way weird brother of mine.' Dominic said as he picked up his guitar and prepared for the worst.

Destiny laughed and decided that this would become her very favorite past time, seeing as it seemed to be a regular occurrence.
