Bad days (Anyone)

Dominic sat amongst the strawberry fields staring at the sky with his guitar in his hands. The last few days had not been pretty. With the upcoming attacks on the Titans positioned forces Dominic had been faced with option of joining the attack against them. And like the fool he was, he had said yes.
His girlfriend Destiny had no been happy about that and had told him exactly why he was such an idiot, but despite everything he couldn't back down. It meant too much to him to back out now. Not when so much was at stake.
"Gods I wish I could think of a song" Dominic muttered as he stared at the sky, "Bet those others heroes didn't have as much of a problem about this stuff. I bet it was all wacky adventures to them."

[Estelle]

'I bet.' Estelle walked up to Dominic. 'Long time no see, hmm?' she noted, smiling a bit wistfully as she fingered her jade ring at the end of her braid.

[Dominic Moss]

"Hey Estelle." Dominic said with a grim smile, "How have you been? All prepared to throw your life away in the approaching battle?"

“That would definately not be smart,”Lily plopped down by Dominic witha basket of berries.“Hope you've been training,”she smiled gravely.

[Estelle]

'I'm not prepared to throw my life away. I'm actually planning on living.' Estelle said, crouching. 'Oh, hey, Lily.'

“You'll survive anyway, Dominic. Long-range weaponry are a lot more helpful when a life is in question. That's why I use throwing knives and stars these days. Because I'm more suscepitble whether its short of long ranged because of my mental state. Yahoo,” Lily said unenthousiastically.

[Estelle]

'Hmm.. 'Estelle mused. She shuddered. 'I should be getting started on those bows then..' Oh well.

“I can help you if you'd like,”Lily smiled. “I think it'll suit you well,”

[Dominic Moss]

"I'm ready." Dominic said with a frown and strummed his fingers along the strings of his guitar. The instrument morphed into the form of a crossbow and with lightning fast speed he whipped up the gun and fired a shot at the nearest strawberry plant. A single berry fell from the stem as a bolt severed it clean off from the plant and landed in Dominic's waiting hand.
"I've been ready for war before they even called the meeting," Dominic said softly. "I was ready the moment they threatened my friends."

“We know,”
Lily's eyes glinted with sorrow.
“We all are. That's why we're here,”
she touched his crossbow carefully.
“You'll have your revenge this time. I will, too. All of us will,”

[Estelle]

'Mmm.' Estelle said, popping a berry into her mouth. 'We will, no doubt. And yeah, I'd appreciate your help, Lily.'

[Dominic Moss]

"My girlfriend thinks I'm nuts. Volunteering to be part of the attack," Dominic spoke before blinking and turning to the girls. "I'm not nuts right? Volunteering was the right thing to do... right?"

“Of course it was. Whatever happen,s, you'll clme back in one piece. For your girlfriend. For us,” Lily smiled warmly at the distraught boy.
