Unfortunately that did do the trick and Malachai stepped closer to Corra.
'Are you alright?"
He asked seeing the blood. he wanted to go check her arm and make sure it wasnt anything to severe.

Corra was grateful for his concern. Once he was in the right spot, she didnt waste any time. Her legs flung up and her knees crashed into him for a groin shot. Once again she pushed her forarm into his neck to keep him from coming back up. "Never underestimate weakness."

Luckily Malachai tried to step back, but the kick caught him on the inside of his thigh instead and he came crashing down. He opened his eyes and saw Corra ontop of him with her forearm against his neck.
He nodded at what she was saying but then said.
"and never underestimate me..."
and with that he let his gaze drift behind her. Although he fell, Malachai was never disarmed and his sword was outstretched behind her, blade against her back.
"call it a tie?"

)) Corra felt the cold blade stretching out behide her neck. wincing, she grudgingly agreed. she slowly backed off him and outstretched a hand to help him up. "Youre pretty good, Malachai. What do you say? Friends?" She smiled. Malachai seemed like he would make a great friend.

He took her hand and had her help him up. He dusted himself off real quick before replying.
"You were pretty good yourself."
After dueling with her a bit Malachai definitely thought they could be friends.
"Friends." He said with a smile.

Estelle smiled. 'Nice,' She turned towards the people. 'Now can we have a proper sparring? Anyone dare to approach me?' She said playfully. She hoped at least one would have the courage. Seriously. She hefted her sword in her hands. 'Perhaps Corra? Or...' she got that look in her grey eyes. 'Or just all together? One to one to one to one.'

Malachai twirls his sword and approaches estelle.
'I'm game." He said towards the girl, wiping the blood yet again from his face.

"why not, but just so you know i have had some real world experience. I haven't been in this safe little camp like the rest of you and I wont go easy on you." Axel said. he could tell this girl did have some fight experience but Axel wasnt worried. he wanted to see just how tough people at this camp could be. Also he couldnt back down from a challenge like this.

Corra smiled, already ready for another fight. "Is that even a question, Estelle? You should know Im all for it." But inside, she was a little worried. Estelle was good. Shell have to really try. At least she knew-- Axel and Malachai would have no idea what hit them.

Malachai smiled at Corra's rsponse.
He didnt know if it was all vs Estelle or if they were splitting into teams, but he was excited for this fight.

'No teams. Individual.' Estelle flashed a look of amusement. Safe little camp? He didn't even know her. She was glad, though- underestimating her gave her one more advantage. She raised her sword. 'Shall we begin?'

Axel almost had went into battle underestimating the girl. but he could tell based on how she had reacted, to his comment, that the girl had been through some battles. Well this might actually be a challenge, Axel thought. "yea sure just do me a favor then, don't hold back." Axel said. he wanted to see the full measure of the girl's skill. Axel drew his dagger and sword ready to fight.

At the request of not holding back, Malachai let his blade light up into flames.
He flexed his grip on the hilt of 'Foehammer' and awaited for one of the others to make the first move.

(im assuming its a free for all fight) Axel figured that he might as well take out the guy in the armor first. he charged at Malachai. then when his enemy lifted his sword to block a frontal attack. Axel jumped into the air, flipped over malachai and struck him 4 times in the back before kicking the armored boy onto the ground.

Malachai had assumed a Kendo stance before Axel had attacked him.
He noticed that when he went to block the frontal attack, Axel had flipped over him.
Malachai's first instinct, which he took, was to roll forward away from him and stood and turned facing his adversary.
"that was dangerous you know.." He said.

'Hmm.' Estelle gave a flitting look towards the boys. 'I'm guessing it's up to us two, Corra.' She hefted her sword.

Corra smirked. Raising her sword, she jumped over to the boys first before moving to Estelle. She didnt want to be knocked out too early. It would be better to avoid her all in all, then attack when shes preoccupied. She had to try something. When Malachai raised his arm to get a strike at Axel, she shoved her sword point into his underarm, where the armour wasnt protectting him. Spinning half way so he wouldnt catch her, she tripped Axel and hit his stomach with the butt of her sword before moving to Estelle. She didnt charge the girl, that would be a mistake. She was a child of Athena, for the gods sake. She was queen of battle stratagy. No, this was not something Corra could take rashly, she had to carefully analyze the situation, try to predict what Estelle would do before she did it. For the first time, she tried to imagine herself as the witty child of Athena, and Estelle as the overlooked Aphrodite girl. She moved away from the boys and faced Estelle calmly, sword held high, waiting for her first move.

( i dont remember raising my blade to strike at Axel but ill roll with it....)
Malachai glanced and saw how close Corra had gotten, and instead of raising his blade to defend himself from either Axel or Corra's attack, he merely, stepped to the side and back to let the two on comers run into each other. He did this, keeping his blade ready for the next attack.

((loll, sorry xD)) Corra pushed Axel away,[ throwing him to the floor in a hurry, sidestepping and sweeping at Malachai's chest, scraping his armour. She didnt actually get at him, but it was enough. She attempted to block Axel off while defending herself from Malachai, and keeping Estelle in the corner of her eye. Multitasking was common in battle. ((Waiting for Estelle to answer... And for some to reply to my topic in the cabins... Gah.))
