Swordfighting Practice

[Marie]

Marie entered the arena, and willed Aegis to transform. She held Ekliepsis in her right hand, awaiting Logan's arrival. She was kind of enjoying having a brother, even if he hadturned out to be older.

Logan finally walks in, almost loosing his way to the Arena. He smiled to Marie. He pulled out Xiphos and took his Athenian shield lower to his body.

[Marie]

"Just on time!" Marie smiled back, "Okay, so have you used a sword before? I' m wondering if we should start withe basics or not."

"Yeah, I used the sword lots of times." Logan lied, mostly because he wanted to get to the fighting.

[Marie]

"Right," she said, unsure of whether to believe him."Let's try a lunge and defend movement. So, when I lunge forward, you do whatever comes naturally to defend yourself. Disarming, whatever. Let's see what you can do."
She lept, and lunged at him with her sword.

Logan plunges his shield to her blade , as hard as he can. Im gonna die, Im gonna die, Im gonna die, he thought.

[Marie]

Marie's sword fell from her hand due to impact, but she quickly caught the sword before it clattered to the ground."Good, follow that through with a jab of you're sword, and you'be got a pretty effective move." She said, mildly impressed."Remember though, you've gotta be quick on you're feet, never let you're guard down, you never know what the opponent will do next."
She thrust her sword at his chest, though not hard enough to harm him. She carried this through by slamming Aegis into his shield, poised and ready for his response.

Logan almost tripped from her attack with the shield. "Ready!" he said. Logan put his shield infront of him. Pretending to go on a thrust, but trying to get her at the side so quick , but not that hard.

[Marie]

Marie put her sword forward, expecting their swords to clash together, stopping him mid-thrust, though his sword was not where she expected it to be.She was not quick enough to prevent him from attacking fromvthe side."Impressive." She exclaimed, surprised. Her sword had clattered to the ground while she was trying to defend hersef from his side on attack. She stood, shield in hand, awaiting his next attack, predicting his possible moves.

"Thanks." Logan said. He moved swiftly from side to side. He was thinking about doing the same move again. Logan crashed his shield into Marie's shield. And try to slice for her legs, but not to much.

[Marie]

Marie's sword met his before he could reach her leg. She was beginning to learn his technique. She thrust her sword forward, pushing the flat of his blade against his chest, hopefully making him unable to move his arm without dropping his sword.

"Lucky." He smiled her. He looked at his shield arm and start wacking her thrusting arm, hopefully making Logan use his sword arm again.

[Marie]

Marie withdrew her sword, replacing it it Aegis, whacking her shield against his, with her sword in front of her, defending herself from a possible attack."You barely need training. You're definetely a natural."

"Your not so bad yourself, sis." Logan said this with a big grin on his face. When the impact rammed into his shield it almost disarmed his arm but he caught it just in time. Logan put his sword infront of him. He got ready to do his trick that he's been wanting to do. Logan slid under Marie as fast as he could. He then started to whack her with the flat part of his blade, arming his shield at his neck and chest.

[Marie]

Marie, noticing this as one of Cam's tricks, clashed her blade with his, holding Aegis up defensively. "Thanks!" She managed, never drawing her attention away from Logan's sword.

Logan tried all his strength to keep his strength up. He bashed his shield with her sword then, hoping that he would get out of the clash.

[Marie]

Marie's sword clattered to the ground. Not daring to pick it up, she met Aegis with his shield, and took her cap out of her pocket with her other hand.

Logan paid attention to the cap Marie had in her hand then. He charged his shield making sure the shield was locked in forced. Logan sliced his Xiphos at her cap arm. Not to hard but to make a slice on her sweater.

[Marie]

Marie dodged his sword, though he managed to cut a slight slit in hwr sweater. She slapped the cap onto her head, though she dropped Aegis in the process. Her image shimmered for a moment, and disappeared completely.

While on the ground, Logan looked around. "What the- where did she go!" he said in shocked. He got up, he didn't know if she got taken by a bad guy or she turn invisible from the hat. There were all things in his head. Logan put down his shield, and looked around. "Marie! Marie!" He called out.

[Marie]

Realising that he was not going to carry on until he found her, she took the yankees cap from her head."Hey, its alright," she laughed a little, "I'm just playing around. Sorry about that." Ekliepsis appeared on her wrist in the form of a silver bracelet. She went to collect Aegis from the floor while Logan was distracted.

Cameron walked into the arena and saw Marie battling with what looked to be a noobie and laughed then called out"hey is there room for a third."

[Marie]

"Sure thing!" Marie went up to greet Cam."This is Logan,, my brother. Logan, this is Cam, son of Zeus " She smiled as she mentioned Cam.

Logan looked to Cameron then, and went in silence. He just made a quick wave, then picking his shield back up. He never tried a trio duel. So he just pretended to go with flow.

Cameron said"hey Logan lets see epic strategy holds against lightning.But be warned i beat your sis I think i beat you but who knows."As Cameron said that he dropped into a roll summoned thundercloud from the watch and disarmed Logan when he slammed the hole in his blade down Logan's and twisted sending the blade flying out of Logan's hand.
