Skipper scrunched up her nose at the volleyball, which was between her legs, and being passed between her ankles. She sat there, on the courts, with her knees up to her chest, scowling and the white ball. Then she had an idea. She stood up, taking the ball with her, and threw it as hard as she could on the ground. The ball flew immediately upward, reaching the treetops. She cussed under her breath as it got caught in the trees. way to make my day she thought, and began to climb the tree to retrieve it.

Estelle walked into the volleyball court.'Hmm..mighta give volley a try.'she thought.then she spotted Skipper.she was about to call out, but thought better of it.'If I call her now, she'll kinda..fall off the tree, I guess.' So she waited for skipper to come down.

Skipper quickly retrieved the ball and when she went back down, found Estelle Evergreen there! "Oh, hey, Estelle," she said tiredly
