Relaxing by the Lake (Open)

Jake way laying down in the grass by the shore, nearly falling asleep. Working several nights in a row were finally taking a toll on him. He smiled a bit to himself at the silhouette of the bronze dragon flying in the sky. At least Agamemnon was finished now. The sun was warm on the crisp, cool winter day. He'd have to go back to school soon. He felt rather bad that he didn't have much of a chance to spend time with his mom at home this break. The guardian had taken too much of a priority, and that wasn't something that could be built in an apartment.
Ty rested his large head beside Jake. He rubbed the hellhound's muzzle, starting to drift off.

[Wes]

After finishing another archery session with a few of the other Apollo kids, Wes found herself strolling to the canoe lake, enjoying the cool breeze and the smell of the lake water and plants that grew in it - not a strong smell, just a natural one. Not like anything you get walking past the Aphrodite cabin.
She picked up a small rock next to some tall grass that blocked Jake from her view and started tossing it up and down in her hand, thinking about the dreaded return to school.
She hadn't heard any news over break; did they investigate the headmaster's dissapearence? Did anyone see them and raise suspicion upon them? It occurred to her that she didn't check and see whether or not Chiron was informed, or if he manipulated the Mist to make them seem innocent.
With a sigh, she gripped the rock and flicked her wrist quickly at the lake, sending the rock skipping down its surface.

"Nice job," Lily said, coming down the lake to sit by Wes.
"Are you nervous about going back to school?" she asked, as she absentmidedly sent a pebble bouncing across the lake

Ty lifted his head to look at the two girls standing a bit of a ways away, disturbing Jake's comfortable position. Jake sat up to look around, but only seeing the grass that separated him and the girls he laid back down. He didn't know what had caught Ty's interest, and frankly he was too tired to really care much. Dog will be dogs... even giant ones from Hell.

[Wes]

Wes jumped slightly when Lily spoke, breaking the quietness, "Oh, thanks, you too. Uhm, I'm not really nervous about the school part, just worried about whether or not the authorities have dubbed us criminals yet. That wouldn't look too good on my Florida State application." Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a black shadow poke up from the grass. She turned her head and smiled upon seeing Ty. She patted her leg twice, "Here boy."

Lily fished around in her pocket til she found a milk-bone.
“I asked my dad to get me some for Ty while Jake's away.”she explained.

Ty quickly jumped up, making Jake's head hit the ground.
"Ow..."
Ty bounded over to the girls and proceded to run normal dog procedure, complete with barking and the play bow.

Lily rubbed Ty, then gave him a handful of milk bones.
“Good Ty,” she said, as she rubbed him

[Wes]

Wes smirked a little, "Be carefull, he might choke on those." She patted Ty's large head twice before moving on to scratching behind his ear. She then picked up on Jake's little moan of pain and parted the grass to see him, "Oh, hey Jakey."

Jake rubbed the back of his head as he sat up.
"Hey..." He said, stiffing a yawn. He checked his hand and deciding his head wasn't too bad, he added. "What's up?" He hoped he didn't sound too tired.

“Sorry... Did i wake you?” Lily asked. She put the milk bones away and rinsed her hands then walked over to Jake.

[Wes]

Wes scoffed and gave a smirk, "Don't be silly, Jake doesn't sleep. His good friends make sure of that. If Jake wanted to sleep, he'd get better friends." Wes had always wondered why Jake kept Kris and herself as friends, since they were always beating him up, ragging on him, and generally just making his life miserable.

Between them and his projects, it was a wonder that Jake got any sleep.
"Who has time to make better friends?" Jake said. But since he said it while yawning, it sounded more like: "Whoah ime toake etterends..."

“Jake, i can't understand a word you're saying. Maybe you should some sleep,” Lily said, then picked up Cloudball, her puppy that was dozing nearbt

Wes fixed Jake with her best 'I told you so' face, "You know, Jake, if you hadn't been working on an unclearenced project, you might have been able to catch up on sleep." She then remembered something, and asked in a teasing tone, "Speaking of sleep, any idea when that super dramatic, prophesying dream's gonna play out?"

Jake glared at her.
"It won't." He said, perhaps a bit too fiercely. "He's here." Jake added, pointing up in the sky at the guardian flying over head. No stupid dream was a match for a giant mecha made completely of bronze and awesome... he hoped.
