What are we to do now? Annabeth pursed her lips, hearing the question aloud for once, instead of in her own mind. She had been wondering about that herself a few times after the defeat of Gaea. Life was... normal, for once. No more crazy quests, no more drama and treachery and uprisings from Dirt Ladies who refused to take another incredibly long nap. Life hadn't been normal since she was twelve.
She was seventeen now. Almost a third of her life (about 0.294 percent if she was calculating by the year, and not being exact) had been taken up by the unraveling of two Great Prophecies. How could she go back to normal?

She fought down these doubts and worries and reached out almost involuntarily to Percy.

Nico glared at Annabeth's attempt to Percy. She took a partner for granted. Annabeth and Percy always had eachother. Nico had nobody. He had Bianca, but she...
Nico wanted friends. He truly did. But he didn't have anyone. Everyone was scared or creeped out if they were near him. Nico thinks Frank liked him better when he was maize. Nico just glared at Annabeth's hand reaching for Percy's.
