Jake rolled his eyes. "Twilight vampires are nothing like traditional vampires. It's all dressed-up ridiculousness for hopeless girls." He said, giving Estelle a look as he said it. He was joking about the part with Estelle being a hopeless girl. The rest, not so much.

'I've been thinking that too,' Estelle said seriously. Then she grinned. 'Edward isn't much my type anyways. Too overprotective,' she paused. 'Though I agree that he seems to be gorgeous.' she snorted. 'All vampires in books seem to be.'

Jake scoffed. "How else are they supposed to get sufficiently stupid people to get near them?" He said, deadpan. "If you look bad, you're a villain. If you look good, you're misunderstood and should be shipped at every turn."

Estelle sighed. 'I know, it's soo stereotypical.' she said wistfully. 'Well, maybe except Harry Potter. Harry's ugly. Tom Riddle was very attractive before becoming Voldemort.'

Estelle frowned. 'Oh well. I'm not ordering New Moon.' she paused. 'That means I have to read Artemis Fowl again. For the millionth time. I've almost memorized it now.' she shook her head. Artemis Fowl was good, but still. She took out her smartphone and turned on some music. G Dragon, of course.

Jake shrugged. He put his hands on his legs and stood up. "Well, I better get back to work." He grinned at Estelle. "I've got to put it back together those dummies that some vicious warrior tore apart."

Jake gave a shrug.
"Nah, it's fine, I don't mind fixing stuff that much. It gives me something to do." He grinned. "And I can use it to as an excuse to avoid archery practice." He walked over to the dummies. He gave Estelle a knowing look.
"Besides, I wouldn't want to interrupt your time with your boyfriend."

Jake grinned. "That's good. You should never take life too seriously, no one makes it out alive anyway..." He stopped and considered what he just said. "That was wrong, wasn't it." He said flatly, once again thinking too late that something could be offensive. Especially when a fierce battle had just been fought a few weeks(?) ago.

Jake gave a grin. "Then I stand by that statement." He picked up one of the broken dummies and threw it over his shoulder. He looked at the several pieces of it that were still scattered around the floor. "You really did a number on them, didn't you?"
