Why do you get two characters? On this site I go, you get 5 slots. Then, you have to buy the rest with your drachmas. They're 25000 drachmas.

Pardon my bluntness, but in my experience most of the time when that's allowed, there are fifty underused characters on one account that are all (or mostly) crap. People tend to pick up random characters on a whim and never bother developing them any and when they get bored they simply make another terrible character instead of improving the one(s) they've got. Then eventually, as Lily said, they get forgotten about anyway by the next month when the new character thrill wears off.

Even when they are well done, this tends to be more confusing.

I'd much rather there'd be one (or two, for plot reasons) characters that are well done and fleshed out. You take what you got, and run with it to make it awesome.

If you're concerned about getting bored in roleplay with only one character, we don't enforce a strict timeline. Your character can be in multiple topics at the same time. Though if your character's away from camp... we'd rather you didn't post there... just because it gets kinda confusing. And try not to post in *every* topic.

(And it also doesn't help that we kinda abandoned the Drachma system... partly forgot, partly because for us it was rather useless.)

Again, I don't mean to offend, but that's my not-so professional opinion.
I know a lot of sites like having several characters and they allow them to be picked up, dropped, or adopted on a whim. I don't. (I can't speak for the other two admin, but we've had it like this for a while and only allowed a second character when we needed people to play Titans army.)

You can already break physics and time.
You can post in multiple places within camp. We don't enforce a strict timeline.

Though, we do ask that you don't post in camp while you're away at school or on a quest. That's a bit much.

I've been thinking about this recently but could we have children of cannon characters? Or descendants depending on how long this time is away from them.
