He thought for a moment and couldn't decide if she was just being friendly but he decided to go ahead and ask "Would you like to umm I don't know come back here and do something else like a picnic or maybe go swimming or something?"

Alexis smiled and shifted to look at him."A picnic sounds nice. I'd love too."Alexis said and her tension cooled off slowly. Alexis had a soft blush on her cheeks her cheeks were slightly rosey but became a little dark when he asked her out.

Andrew thought for a moment "How about Tuesday so that I can get the stuff for it or if you've got the food I can get the rest or something like that and we can have it tomorrow but I would prefer for me to get it" he said as he started lying down to look at the clouds.

Alexis listened to him and nodded."Tuesday it is I guess."Alexis said then looked at the clouds and glanced at him."What was you're dad like?" Alexis asked softly."Mine was a long time ago nice until he went crazy."Alexis said.

"My dad was into a lot of weird stuff like star wars and science fiction stuff like that but he was nice, laid back and probably best of all was that he could never stay mad at anyone what so ever. He was probably the best dad ever and he's also the one that got me started in lots of stuff to do with fighting but I still have know clue if he new who my mom was." Andrew paused for a moment "The only I wish I could've done was say goodbye."

Alexis smiled lightly."My dad he was a nut job but before that time he was a military geek and still enjoyed having fun once in a while."Alexis said softly but later frowned."My stepmom changed him completely. He no longer paid attention to what I did and later just started to pick out my flaws."Alexis sighed deeply.

Andrew felt sorry for her. Atleast his dad noticed him for his successes rather than failures. "So did you even like your stepmom?"

"She was nice the first hour then she um went horrible."Alexis said softly." I didn't even like her when she acted nice. I guess too mad about my dad moving on or something like that."Alexis added softly while glancing up at the clouds.

"My stepmom was pretty cool but she wasn't exactly the best person becuase she started drinking which is what got her killed in a car accident." Andrew said and sighed remembering her. He thought to himself why is it that demigods have to lose almost everybody they care about just to live. "So you got any step-brothers or sisters besides the ones here at camp?"

"Yeah I had a little step brother named Max."Alexis sad softly."But once my dad died my stepmom and max vanished. I don't know where they are."Alexis added before she started to play with the sand a little making a small pile. "Did you have any step siblings?"Alexis asked.

Andrew felt sorry for her. He atleast new where his sister was or atleast a guess. He said "Yeah I had a 5 year sister and she died trying to save my dad, so at least she had a chance to go to the Elysium which I'm very thankful for but it was just horrible to see her die just a child." He paused for a moment and said "So you don't even have a guess as to where they went?"

Alexis looked at him and smiled a little and shook her head."Not really. "Alexis then grabbed the book and looked at the page then scooted a little next to him giving the book."I won't daze off."Alexis said. Even though she could think and gather info at the same time she wanted to hear the story.

Andrew looked at her for a moment and said "So what's worse than seeing your own little sister ripped in two and her blood and everything all over you?" Andrew than took the book.

Alexis sighed and curled her lip."That is worse but she will always be watching you and since she sacrificed herself for you're father her judgement will be easy. I'm sure she will be in Elysium. I'm sorry what happened."Alexis said and smiled a little to cheer him up."Now no need to think about what's going on and be happy. I'd like to hear the story."She said her voice angelically soft.

Andrew said "Ok and sorry if that sounded rude or anything I was just wondering if you saw anything that bad." He then grabbed one side of the book and started reading it with her and pointing a few things that had other stories to them.

"It's okay and if I had seen anything that bad you would know."Alexis said softly. Alexis smiled reassuringly while reading with him. She pushed her bangs back making her eyes be seen better then before.

Andrew just now realized they met today it felt like years but things seemed to be speeding along great a little to great maybe but he didn't really care and said a quick silent prayer to Aphrodite.

Alexis looked at the pictures that were from old carvings and found one of Athena. Her fingers tracing along the owl and her mother. She then looked at him and smiled a little."What are you thinking about? Out of curiosity."Alexis asked.

Andrew started to laugh a little too and then he said "You know if they give you any more problems come and get me so I can watch or if you'd let me help you that even be more fun." He then turned towards her.
