Hanging Out

Jake sat on the shore of the canoe lake.
He watched Agamemnon circle around over head. He had often considered flying with it. Purely official test reasons, of course. The automation was built to hold three comfortably, in case he was commissioned for a quest. And how great would it be to fly on a giant metal dragon? The only thing that made him content to be on the ground was the slight apprehension over heights....

Estelle noticed Agamemnon earlier than she noticed Jake.'Wow..'she muttered, staring at the metal dragon

[Wes]

Wes ran past the canoe lake with a big grin across her face. Ty was chasing her. Since Jake had been paying so much attention to Agamemnon lately, she'd taken it upon herself to give his neglected dog some loving. When Ty saw Jake, he skidded to a stop and gave him a sloppy hellhound kiss and sat down panting and drooling. Wes saw this and stopped, caught her breath, and walked back over, "Hiya Jakey! Yo' doggy seems to miss ya."

Jake tensed as he was promptly covered with slobber. That was one thing the automation had above this guy- they didn't lick.
He patted the hellhound's muzzle. "Hey Ty." He tried not to voice the displeasure of getting wet, but it came out anyway. "Hey Wes."

[Estelle]

Estelle decided that she did not want to interrupt their talk.. and just walked away

[Wes]

Wes frowned as Estelle left, but shrugged it off, "So, Jake, what's up?" Before he could answer, a thought crossed her hyperactive mind, and she asked in a quick voice, "Wait, before you answer that, do you think Ty could handle Ultimate Swordsman? I mean, you'd probably have to change the name to Ultimate Dogfight, and keep the animal rights activists off your butt, but do you think he'd make it?"

Jake gave her an odd look.
"Uh... I don't know..." He thought for a moment. "Maybe?"
Ty gave a loud bark.

[Wes]

"Cool. You should do it sometime," Wes said, reaching up to scratch Ty behind the ear affectionatly. She started bouncing lightly on the balls of her feet. The jog with Ty had renewed some natural energy. "You know what I need right now?" she asked, her other hand fidgeting in her pocket, "Mountain Dew."

Velika had wandered off down toward the canoe lake for some time to just sit and think, but she soon saw something huge and furry down on the beach by two campers when she got there. She continued walking down toward the group, recognizing the beast as a hellhound. It was slobbering all over the boy. When she finally got to them, she held her hand out to the giant dog, petting its head gently, trying to calm it. If this were a creature of her father's world, then maybe she could have some influence over it. "Shh...calm down..." she whispered to it, bringing her other hand around to the side of its face, gently patting the hellhound on the cheek.
