The Day After Night

Skipper's eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the harsh light. For a split second, she panicked, unaware of where she was. Then she looked around and realized EXACTLY where she was: The Infirmary. She tried to sit up, but as soon as she did, pain seared through every limb in her body. She immediately went back down. Cotton blankets covered her, and she layed on a average mattress. She blinked, pain still twinging in every limb. There were a few bandages wrapped around her neck, which she recalled had been bitten. She looked at the time. 2:31 PM. Maybe it was the day after that night when they had been attacked by various monsters? Yeah, it had to be. Unless Skipper had been unconcious for, like, a week or something, it was. She glanced around the infirmary, her vision still hazy.
