Monster Hunting (open)

Alex walks into the familiar woods, holding Adrenaline. I stop for a second to let Nick catch up.

I come walking into the woods after alex. i touch my bracelets of death and my daggers elongate. I smile at her "ready?" i ask her smiling.

[Alexxx]

I smile back. "Yeah. Where should we go first?"

[nickryder]

"let's head for the creek" i say "but keep sharp you know how dangerous these woods can be..."

[Alexxx]

"Yeah. I once-" I stopped because I saw something in the creek area. "Nick, I saw something."

[nickryder]

i crouch, instantly on alert and motion Alex to do the same. "what do you see?" i whisper to her?

cameron who has been stealthily following them says guys im sorry like i said i have anger issues

[nickryder]

"Cameron" "i could sense your power your the son of Zeus" "We are hunting you'll only be a distarction and like you said anger issues"

[camcam9999]

i could help you im stealthy i could scout ahead

[Alexxx]

I ignore Cameron and whisper to Nick, "Its either a dracaenae or a hellhound-not sure."

Hey guys, sorry to inturupt your fun here- but this isn't the place to be monster hunting. The only way monsters(or mortals) can get within camp borders is if they have permition to go freely (Like Ty) or were specifically summoned to Camp(like the Draconae) I don't mind if you go looking after the battle for camp ends, and you're just looking for straggelers, but please wait for the battle to *end*.


And Cam, punctuation always helps. Please try to put it into your posts.

i'm sorry we will wait until said battle is over ,but i would like to point out that in the books monster roam the woods freely for training and camp games. some monster live there for this purpose. please refer to most Percy Jackson and the Olympians books. please correct me if i've read the 7 camp half blood books incorrectly. awaiting your response and the battles end.

I don't remember reading that there's any monsters just roaming around on camp grounds. I know you can summon some for training, but that would have to be a supervised event. And seeing that you three are the newest members to our camp- there is no way we'd let you just roam off on your own on your first week of camp. I don't care how much of a prodigy you are.

ok i wasnt expecting such a forceful response but okay. in the books they warn campers not to wander off into the woods because there are monsters there. i was not trying to upset you or anyone else. i understand this is the first week at camp but in my bio. it explains how i had to live on the streets of new york fighting and evading monsters. i hope you are not upset with me as your post suggests. i have great respect for the site and the work you've put into it.but it seems to me there isn't a way for new campers to prove themselves. in the book they would occasionally send new campers on quests. again no disrespect intended. I'm sorry if you thought i was... by the way the prodigy comment... i was trying to stay in character and i'm sorry but i found the comment slightly offense. and isn't a demigods life already dangerous?

I didn't mean to sound too harsh, I just said prodigy for the sake of being a Big Three. You don't need to appologize so much. I don't remember that part of the book, that's all. I'll try to write more tactfully, but putting it simply:
Us senior campers would no way allow you guys to try and hunt monsters alone on your first week, no matter how good you got before camp. And as far as I know Alex and Cam don't have much of any experience fighting. I'm at least temperarilly closing down this topic for the sake of keeping new campers alive and not to have a battle and a hunt happening at the same time in the same place.
