[Willow]

”Here you are” the driver said ”They will take you in might even have some work for you” Saille thanked the driver of the car and slipped out in to the soft night air. She walked up the hill and halted under a tall pine tree. Her arm throbbed but as long as she didn't jar it it was withstand able. Below her spread a valley with buildings scattered down it. A few lights were shinning but mostly it was dark. Saillie quietly walked down in to valley sneaking around the houses she smelled horses and walked till she came to a stable. With a joyful heart she slipping inside. Pausing for a second she breathed in the smell of horses and after rubbing a few noses she found a unoccupied corner wih some hay and curled up to sleep.

Charlie hated dealing with Hermes kids sometimes.
While it was true they could practically sneak anything into camp, she didn't much care for their sense of humor. Particularly when she was the target of that sense of humor.
She'd been waiting for at least half an hour already. The daughter of Aphrodite was beginning to think that they'd decided not to show up, it wouldn't be the first time after all, when she noticed something in the corner of her eye.
Something turned out to be a girl, sleeping in the stables.
She considered leaving the person there, consider she herself was already out after curfew, and didn't fancy the idea of being eaten by any harpies or similar.
Then her conscience spoke up, and reminded her this girl was in just as much danger on that front.
Considering Chalie didn't recognize her, they likely hadn't been around long.
"Hey stupid." She said, not feeling particularly friendly at the moment. "While I'm sure the floor is comfortable, ya might wanna get to your cabin."

[Willow]

Saille rolled over with a startled snarl which quickly turned to a small yelp of pain as she bumped her left arm into the wall behind her. She gritted her teeth together and carefully got to her feet never taking her eyes of this girl. Pain rippled up her arm making her light headed. Leaning carefully against the wall she adjusted her dirk unsure of what this annoying girl which interrupted her sleep wanted. Finally after sorting thru her head for something to say she spit out "Who you me want for?"

Charlie watched the scene with an impassive expression, which quickly turned into a blank stare at the girl's attempted question.
"I think you're missing a few words there." She deadpanned. Mostly unimpressed by the whole thing.
Figures it would be a newbie, it seemed she couldn't go anywhere without stumbling across one, did the fates want her to be a tour guide or something?
regardless, Charlie decided since she'd already engaged the girl she might as well handle the matter.
"You don't even know where you are do you?"

[Willow]

The girl didn't seem to have intentions of causing problems except to criticize her grammar so Saille relaxed her hold on the dirk. She looked at the girl and responded "No I's told I'd be safe here". The door was behind the girl and relatively in accessible and there were a few windows but they were bolted for the night. Besides she couldn't get thru with her arm like it was nor was she fast at running.

Charlie's father had taught her alot about reading people.
So it wasn't surprising to her that the girl seemed to be thinking about running off, at least according to her body language.
Charlie thought for a moment about what the girl said, really she wished this could just wait until morning, but unfortunately she doubted the girl would stick around after being discovered.
"Safer than most." Charlie conceded, she noticed the girl's arm seemed to be injured. "We should probably wake an Apollo kid up to deal with that arm."

[Willow]

"What do mean by safer than most?"  Saille ask. Her head was clearing and the name Apollo suddenly darted a crossed her brain wasn't that the name some old God of the greeks she had read about once. Apollo kid maybe that was just his name anyway waking up another person was not what she wanted. She was already having problems with one person that she didn't know and two would make it worse. "My arm's fine" Saille said. She knew it was not convincing as soon as she said it and quickly muttered "It'll not kill me".

[Charlie L]

"Eh, keeps the monsters out, but some of the morons here more than make up for it.." Charlie shrugged at the thought, not entirely sure what was worse, teenagers or monsters.
She raised an eyebrow when the girl tried to dismiss her injury. "Really?" She asked skeptically.
The short blonde assessed the girl, and made the assumption that the kid was younger than her, probably between 10-13 years old. The girl was taller than Charlie herself, but that was the norm for most people. Charlie did notice a scar, and figured the injury to her arm was likely not her first monster experience.
"Then you won't mind if I take a look at it?" Charlie asked. "Unless you'd rather risk crippling yourself."

[Willow]

”So you know about the monsters too?” Saille asked. No one but her grandfather had ever believed her when she told them what she had seen. Saille slumped down the wall on to a bail of hay and suddenly realized how tired she was. She had spent several days hitchhikeing and crawling under bushes didn't make for the best sleeping arrangements. Carefully rolling up her sleeve she said ”It might be cracked but mostly just bruised”. Thru a hole in a window a beam of moonlight spilled in and Saille could see the mottled dark bruises on her left forearm.

[Charlie L]

"Let's just say I've had to deal with them myself." Charlie answered. While she hadn't had as many confrontations as many demigods before she had learned about the whole demigod thing, she'd had a few encounters.
The girl was definitely exhausted, and Charlie kept this in mind while she examined the arm.
She had learned enough in the last few years to tell a broken arm, after all broken bones weren't unusual in camp.
So she could tell that the girl's arm was likely broken, and wouldn't be surprised if the girl's guess was correct. The short blonde considered her options, after all she was too involved now to simply back off. She assessed her options before reluctantly pulling out the square of Ambrosia she had been keeping on her for emergencies.
"Eat this, it should help." Charlie knew the ambrosia wasn't enough to be dangerous, she was always very careful with that stuff.

(hope you don't mind me taking the liberty of deciding the injury, if not i can edit it. It's interesting seeing Charlie in this situation)

Saille took the small piece of bread and carefully turned it over in her hand. She had felt the hesitation from this strange girl so was more wary of it. After sniffing and licking the piece she began to nibble cautiously on a corner. The biscuit like object did not taste like a biscuit it tasted like the small tangy green apples that grew on the ranch. The ones from a old gnarly tree at the top of a knoll where Mariah her horse and her used to sit and eat till there bellies nearly burst then nap and hide from old aunt Jane. Saille liked the last few crumbs of her fingers and then wished she hadn't. Her fingers had a large collection of dirt, grease and whatever else had collected over the past few days. ”What was that?” She asked perplexed and She glanced over the girl again wondering if she had any other hidden food.

Charlie went to work setting the girl's arm, tearing one of the sleeves of her camp shirt, considering she didn't really need it,
Besides this girl didn't seem to trust her, and she had to make sure that the arm healed right, since with the ambrosia a broken arm could be fixed in anywhere from half an hour to an hour.
It wouldn't do to let the girl's arm heal wrong and needing to re-break it so it could heal properly. Charlie noted the girls question and the idea this girl only knew the bare minimum was more apparent.
"It's Ambrosia, it should help." She said, not bothering to explain more. The girl would learn soon enough anyways. "I'm going to guess you haven't eaten much recently?" Charlie asked rhetorically. The messhall would be closed by now, but the magic that summoned the food and plates was supposed to work at all times. "I suppose we could go get some food, but we'd need to be careful." She looked around to illustrate the point before continuing. "It's after curfew, and the cleaning harpies aren't exactly known to be tolerant of kids sneaking out." She decided not to explain, and controlled her body language and facial expression to hide any real reaction. Sometimes it paid to be the daughter of a con man.

[Willow]

Once the girl had shredded her sleeve and made a make shift splint and her arm was slung and feeling better her mind returned to food. The small piece of ambrosia did not do much and at the girls question as to last food that could be counted as something was lunch the day before last. "No I've not had much and besides we are already out” Saille said quietly. The girl glanced round the stable and Saille wondered what a harpie was and if it was any worse then Aunt Jane but her belly was even hungrier after the piece of Ambrosia. She got of the hay and picked up her small bag of rocks glass string and other odds and ends.

[Charlie L]

"Guess ya had it rough kid." Charlie observed.
She observed the girl stand up, and gave a analytic glance at the girl's bag.
"It's alright, alot of kids here had tough times." Charlie attempted to reassure the girl. She didn't really think she was very good at it though.
Then again, she wasn't exactly the compassionate type usually. so it wasn't like she was currently in her element.
"Lett's get you some food now, I guess." She decided, though she did feel a bit awkard about the whole thing.

[Willow]

Saille walked passed the girl and back to the stable door. She slid her dirk into a better position on her waist then after listening for a brief second she carefully opened the door and steped out into the shadows. The air was cool but not to cold and somewhere a owl was calling. She hesitated waiting for the girl who she had started thinking of as cat.

With nothing else to do with in the Stable the childlike blonde followed the strange girl out, before taking the lead to guide thee kid to the messhall.
