[Axel The Bunny]

Axel stopped to catch his breath; he had been training all morning, trying to improve his speed. He knew that his best chance of winning in any fight with more experienced fighters would be his speed. It was a key factor in using dual weapons. The problem was his technique was off. Axel had been trying all morning to get this technique down. He still couldn’t get the maneuver right. The technique was a mix of acrobatics and sword skill. The problem was that he could he couldn’t do the correct technique fast enough after getting behind the opponent. Axel tried for what must have been the fiftieth time, only to mess up on the acrobatics and ended up collapsed on the ground. He was exhausted; the fatigue from hours of training was taking its toll.

Lily limped into the arena, eyes flickering with annoyance. It was just one sprain...it wasn't as if she'd broken it. Well, she had sprained her ankles from like the fourth time in four months, but did that really earn her a whole week of being binded to the bed with absolutely nothing to do? But of course the medics had posted one of the kids to keep an eye on her. She'd argued with the guy, and almost burned his skin with scalding hot water before getting the permission to at least walk around, him accompanying her a few feet away.
Spotting a guy collapsed on the ground, she hobbled over as fast as she could, only to realize it was Axel.
"You okay?" she asked softly, kneeling down by him.

Axel saw a girl with blond hair walking up. at first he assumed he had passed out and was having some kind of dream while unconscious. Then he realized that it was just Lily. "Im fine" Axel said, not sure if it was true. "you look like you have seen better days though" he said seeing her ankle was hurt. Axel managed to sit up, though he wasnt sure if he would be able to stand yet.

" I have," Lily replied with a dry laugh. "I'm hoping for those days to return. You, on the other hand, look terrible. Want me to get some water for you or something?" She looked arond, and then giggled slightly, whispering a quick "If you need a medic, just call for one. There's a guy who's on my tail because the rest of them think I'll jump off a cabin or something. He should be arriving soon," into Axel's ear a little too playfully. Flicking a loose lock over her shoulder, she quickly checked Axel over with her eyes to look for visible injuries.

Axel considered refusing when Lily offered to help him, not wanting to wound his pride by admitting he may need help, but he considered that it would probably be a lot more damaging to his pride if he passed out. "Water would be nice." Axel said, then when he heard what she said about the medic he laughed. "Well they tend to look down on that sort of thing" Axel said jokingly, almost as though he weren't on the verge of passing out.

Lily tsked at the boy a few times playfully. "Are you sure it's just water you need?" She said, before hauling herself up with the slightest trace of a wince and walking, no, scratch that, hobbling over to the cooler. Quickly getting a cup of water, she returned to Axel and handed him the cup. "Easy now, I don't think chugging it down 's going to help you in any way," turning to spot the medic red handed, She smiled a little slyly and waved at the boy. Maybe she finally managed to irritate him.
