Andrew ignored the two's outside conversation. "This guy's sword." he replied to the girl. "Wait, you think it's real too? Wow. I am in a nut house area. Kids at my school could make that with proper materials and time."

Syl let out a deep breath and stared at the boy in disbelief. "Nut house area." She mused. "Of course, what am I doing here?" Perhaps, her luck would be good enough for the kid to leave, being one of the unlucky mortals that could see through the mist. Maybe he'd even lose his sight after he stopped believing in stuff.
Unlikely.
Her hand slid to her dagger, but let go immediately. She wasn't going to attack this guy, what was Syl doing?

Andrew's eyes darted to the knife the girl had gotten out. "So," he said, starting to believe. "This is all real?"

"why is it everyone looks at the Hermes cabin the minute something goes missing?" Axel smiled as he said this. knowing full well that he himself was responsible for the missing materials. "And if it is a prop like your claiming." Axel swung the sword at a lamp. cutting it in half. "how did that happen.

"of course its real. and you aint seen nothin' yet kid." Axel then realized he broke the lamp. he turned to the girl. "you can fix that right?"

Andrew sighed. "So, what do we do now? And when will my dad 'claim' me?"

Syl didn't sigh visibly, and looked at the lamp. She'd do that later. Or, she could just leave it there for Axel's sake, but she didn't want to.
"Your dad will claim you when he sends you a sign," Syl said.

"its kinda hard to explain...but when you see it...you'll know." Axel remembered when he was claimed. it had been in this same room actually. when the strange holgrapic symbol had appeared over his head. of course he couldnt help be curious as to who this child's parent could be. he had said it was his father. but he didnt have the body type that usually was attributed to children of hermes. or that of an Ares kid. maybe Dionysus? Hephaestus? or some other god. Axel wasnt sure.

"that's a good question Ill ask them when i see them." Axel was still curious about who this child's godly parent could be. he hated having to wait. Axel then walked out of the big house. he had more important things to do than to babysit the new kid.
