Hungry and Bored

[Clarissa Pierce]

Clarissa walked into the mess hall. She was pretty bored of herself and couldn't find something to do. She normally had something very entertaining to do--either stink bombing the Aphrodite cabin but they're wasn't any the bomb and the get backs from Aphrodite children are depressing. Last time permanent makeup controlled her face. People stared at her for days or even weeks until it wore off after she said sorry.

Jay walked casually into the Mess Hall. His dark hair was messy, and he had Iceflame with him. He spotted a girl and waved hi.

[Syl]

((Hmm... Hey, Rissa!))

Walking into the Mess Hall, smiling, Syl took a seat in the Hephaestus table. Seeing Clarissa, who she hadn't seen in days, maybe a week, she waved a hello.
The forges had been a problem. After desperately trying to clean up for Cabin Inspection, she couldn't find anything anywhere... This still worried her. And her nice sheet of celestial bronze she'd been working on had disappeared for a week--under the blueprints and stacks of celestial bronze sheets-- dented. All the worry made her sick. She'd had a nightmare yesterday. Pretending to be happy was kind of helping. Okay, maybe not really.
Syl also saw the kid she'd never seen before... Well, a boy. Someone that particularly caught in her eye, because of his dark messy hair. Forgetting the kid, Syl sighed and slumped on the table.

Conrad walked into the mess hall, he looked around and saw Jay, the kid on his team in the arena,Syl,the Hephaestus girl who he hadn't seen in a while, and Clarissa, the girl in the arena who he also hadn't seen in a while. Going up to get some food, a grilled cheese sandwich with french fires, and dropped half the fries into the fire. He really had nothing to say to his dad at the moment so he just moved on to sit at the Ares table, witch was as,as usual, empty. He's grown used to the sitting alone at almost every meal, except for the times the other war god children would sit down with him.

Clarissa waved at a few people then sat down at the empty sad Hermes table. She huffed a breathe and stared deeply at the wood streaks and started to hum.

[Zach]

((Oh my, it's Clarissa!))

Zach limped into the Mess Hall, picked up a hard-boiled egg, a steak and a plate. He pitched the egg into the fire from one hundred feet. He sat down across from Clarissa, at the Hermes table. "Hi! Long time, no see."

[Syl]

Syl started to see more campers walk in and she sighed. The food she'd gotten was getting cold, but she didn't care. She ripped the sandwich in half, and carefully chucked them in the fire. The flames burst up and it smelled like lemon and cheese.
"Hephaestus, father..." I muttered, not knowing what to say. Almost everything was fine.

She sat down back at her table and stared at her food, thinking about what had happened ever since she ever came to camp.

Clarissa looked up from her boredom and brightly smiled,"Yeah,I've been with my mom for the past few weeks,getting myself into trouble like usual."Said Clarissa,the last part a bit of a joke.

[Guest]

Jay sat down next to Zach. 'You mind introducing me?' he asked him. 'I've never met her before.' he smiled uneasily. People were never his best suit.

[Clarissa Pierce]

Clarissa looked at Xavier then glanced at Jay,"I'm Clarissa Pierce, daughter of Hermes." Clarissa responded and introduced for herself.

[Alex Granit]

Conrad walked up to syl feeling weird and said " Will you uhh, go to the prom with me ? " He said regretting it because now he saw everyone staring at me

'Hey. Anubis Kyl, son of Hades. Call me Jay.' Jay smiled.

Andrew looked at all the people sitting at the Hermes table. Looked like a party was going on without him. So he quickly got up and went past a brazier which he put a slice of pizza in. He turned to it and thought 'Mother please give me a chance to prove myself at this camp." And he continued on his journey afterwards. He reached the Hermes' table. "Mind if I sit here?"

[Syl]

Syl smiled.
"Of course." She said quietly, blushing a bit too herself. She guessed this was the first time she'd experienced something like this.

[Alex Granit]

"Ok" Conrad Smiled and walked back to his table happy with his accomplishment of getting a date to the prom that he actually liked.

[Syl]

Still smiling, Syl bit into the sandwich half. It seemed like two days ago she'd met Conrad, but she couldn't remember where. Maybe it was at the beach, or her forge?

She was done with her sandwich before she knew it.

Clarissa looked at Andrew,"Oh I don't mind. Go ahead." Clarissa responded,she felt very nice today which was out of the regular.

[Zach]

"Sorry, I was lost in thought.... So yeah. Jay, Clarissa. Clarissa, J-- Oh yeah. You guys did that without me. Jay, did you know Clarissa can fly? And Clarissa, Jay can basically teleport. And Andrew is just freakishly awesome. There, I contributed to the conversation."

Conrad Happily ate his grilled cheese sandwich, maybe this year won't be as bad as i thought it would be Conrad thought.

[Syl]

((Of course its the best year as long as Syl stays in camp. ))

Not knowing what to do, she fiddled with her bracelet.

[Guest]

'Yeah, teleport 2 times a day and be unconscious on the third time,' Jay grinned. 'I'm practicing.'

[Syl]

((This is getting... a little boring. Let's steer the topic to more interesting.))

Syl almost expected somebody to do something.

[Zach]

Zach, nodded while chewing, gesturing with Clarissa's sandwich, which he had pilfered. "I think we should play a little game.... How about.... How about someone else thinks up a game?"

[Alex Granit]

"We could play tag with our weapons" Conrad suggested. "I haven't used my sword in a while, i need the practice"

"Yeah because we should totally play a child's game with weapons." He smiled. "How about we take this to my underground room for special awesome people?" He hadnt been down there in a while.
