And now for one of the most dangerous topics other than the "Ask the Admin" topic.

A Suggestion box.

This topic is for suggestions on future events and quests.
Here's some things you would post:

• Post a summary of a new event idea. This summary should include:
  -What the idea is.
  -How many people are involved (Usually three if it's a quest, a cabin for the training session, and solo for challenges. Whole camp for major events.)
  
• Give a suggestion on how to improve our methods.
  -Try and keep this reasonable, please. eg. Dont' tell us to completely change the entire layout or devote our lives to the upkeep of the site. We don't get paid for this, after all.
  

Now, don't just say you want a quest in this topic.
I believe that feeling is rather obvious and already has been stated.

Don't have a solo plot where you're the main character and everything relies on you. This is an rpg, not your fanfic. Try and get the events so their more open to anyone taking up the role of hero, and keep in mind that usually older campers get a quest first without special circumstances.

Try to keep the current story arc in mind. I know you don't know all of our admin-ideas, but being frank: we've actually hit the edge of what we've planned ahead to. As long as you keep in mind the rp aspect, and the previous story that's happened, we can tie that in with the next thing moving forward.

And please, let's not destroy the camp for a third summer in a row....

You remeber when Wes talked about Fred suggesting that the titan army people kidnap the campers' parents and hold them as hostages?

By the current number of people I think we could do it well but with so many of the charries on a quest i don't know......maybe after the quest?

But really, I just want the next big thing coming.


AND:What about reviving the Cabin Inspection stuff?
Like, once a month as an activity check? I read the one you guys did ages ago and it seemed pretty good, if we could make it a little better somehow.

I'd prefer is CHB wasn't wrecked again either, I think most of the members could agree with that statement.
And also I think that idea lily said about the hostages...just my opinion.

And now , for my suggestion: I think there could be other activities for the campers to participate in thus giving them more options for roleplaying instead of just a couple, one of the activities could be like scuba diving...I don't know just something that could keep the site alive and more fun. just my opinion *feels stupid*

Other forums-though we're nothing like them-usually have things like balls or more get-together events at least once a month.

Well, I was sort of hoping for Capture the Flag. I know that you said it was possibly be hard for the whole camp to join, but we could have it going on for weeks. So no one misses out. If you get what I'm saying.

And I really don't think we're going to destroy the camp... (If my automaton could get sort of working... I don't know.)

And I think we could maybe have a "Prank Time" which would be heaven for the Hermes kids. People playing pranks on each other. I don't know if thats much of an "event", but it does sound fun to me.

And.. Hostages? Okay, but for me I think that's freaky.

lol, I'm glad most everyone seems to share my sentiments on wrecking the camp again.

Well, I'm not too sure how a sanctioned "Prank time" would work, seeing as that half-way ruins the fun of a prank, and we don't really have any Hermes kids. But you can go ahead and do pranks on each other on your own. Nothing's stopping you.

And don't get me wrong- I'm not completely shooting down Capture the Flag, that's a huge part of camp. I was just explaining the reasons why we haven't been having it. It normally does end up lasting for weeks, and so far we haven't actually finished a game because by that time everyone sort of drops out of it.
Either way, yah- Capture the Flag will happen sometime.
Maybe not soon, but sometime.

The hostage one... I'm personally siding more with Syl on this one, but the other admin seemed to like the idea. It would probably be best as some sort of event in the "Not-Summer" part of rp.

With the more common events, I was hoping to get some campish stuff going on, like training sessions and sanctioned meals, and campfire time.
I also like the Cabin Inspection idea. The ball or whatever you guys can start with an in-character planning of it, since it's not really something the actual camp would focus on.


Any real event will have to be sometime after the quest... namely because I want to participate too...

Well, at any rate, I'm taking down your ideas. Hopefully we'll be able to get something going soonish!

I'm not sure which book or the series that it was on but I remember Percy talking about having wars with boats or something to that affect. Maybe we could do that it something similar to what happened with the Fort Attack in the Son of Neptune? But in a way it is a form of Capture the Flag. I was also thinking we could have something like we catch some monsters in the woods and bring them to the arena to fight? Tons of stuff could happen with that. They could get out someone saves the day heroe fr the day type deal? Then there's also the Chariot Racing. I'm just going to name off some stuff off the top of my head.

A big duel 1-1 in the arena, an Olympic type deal (sprints, swimming, shot put, etc., etc) and only do like each cabin or a max of 4 to a team, maybe help the construction of a new building (Ex: Annabeth's temple to the gods), and my last one is someone finds Bunker 9 (Jake) and uncovers Archimedes Spheres or whatever they were.

Now onto quest ideas!!!

This one might be a little rough around the edges so bear with me...

How about someone's main charrie murders some people in CHB and steals something of importance to the whole entire camp like the Golden Fleece? (This would be a traitor by the way), Prometheus has stolen from the gods once more but this time it's something bigger than fire (the secret to immortality?), a group of demigods must find the first lyre created (think of a small harp) and go down to the Underworld and get someone's soul (say Chirons? And also this would be like a Orpheus type deal).

I'm not talking about anyone. Don't worry. I was just thinking of Nicholas' application, about how he said he might turn over to the Titan Army's side, well... I was thinking.

Let me get this straight. So a traitor kills off a few people and steals an important thing from the camp, then runs away like a coward. And then Prometheus steals fire from the gods and runs away like a coward too, and a group of demigods have to journey to the Underworld to bring back someone's soul, which is sort of against the "law". Or Hades will get really angry. Is that what you're saying? Or did I mess up a bit?

I like the hostages idea.. Although Estelle's an orphan. Maybe she'll just help.. I like quests and stuff. Maybe..can I get 2stelle to find her dad?

You coild say that her dad came over to the US after marrying a woman. And it could be hidden from Estelle until the titan army takes him as hostage.

Well one thing for sure is that if we do the hostage thing my main char (Conrad) won't have parents to be saved because his mom died and his step dad moved away to Canada.... He could be the hero person thing that helps but it's not to likely since he will just end up having a sleep attack, I still like the idea don't get me wrong It would be awesome to even watch that happen.

How about like maybe having Estelle ready his pills in a liqified form in her darts? Then it could prevent his sleep attacks.

Yeah I guess so, but still Conrad isn't the most likely candidate to be chosen to go onto a quest or do something of that importance
