Brief History: Like every other Demi-god to walk the Earth Jax was conceived when a God fell in love with a Mortal before disappearing back to Olympus. His Mother was a Lieutenant for the Armed Forces which is what attracted Ares to her in the first place as he saw ferocity blended with structure and discipline. He never grew to know his Father but he was never lied to about his heritage and what he really was, although, he was stressed to keep his abilities hidden from others. She always said it was for his own safety. During the day Jackson went to school and lived like a normal child but when he returned home he was given training and slowly taught his heritage. Like all of his kind he experienced hardship with the English language as words twisted in his mind like an advanced jigsaw puzzle aching to be solved. Jackson also rarely experienced times of complete calm due to his innate ADHD except when in battle. As other Demi-gods found complete solace in environments or circumstances reminiscent to their God Parent Jackson found him in fighting. When his Mother considered him of age he was then sent to the camp along with his Guardian.
Physical Appearance: At 17 Jackson stands at Five foot Ten inches weighing in around Eighty kilograms. He is both average height and weight. His skin is darker than the Average Caucasian and has short black hair which leans to one side with his sides and back blended down to a fine cut. He is usually clean shaven although sometimes he neglects to groom and is known to rock the stubble for a few days. He possesses dark brown eyes. Although he is not particularly body vein his frame is relatively built to suit his physical lifestyle.
Personality: Jackson is not overly fond of the dramatic and tends to steer clear of anything to do with over reacting emotions. He is not a social butterfly but he is neither rude meaning he will briefly talk to someone if engaged but still keeps himself somewhat retracted. He is only really 'himself' around his closest friends. Because of his bloodline he adopts a slightly more aggressive attitude in training sessions but still manages to maintain his wits about him. Most people assume that children of Ares are arrogant, over confident and quick to fight but most people also forget that his Roman persona Mars is more calculated and considered an excellent battle strategist. He shows a great deal of respect to his Teachers and tutors though he attempts to stir minor conflict among the older campers.
Fatal Flaw: Jackson is heavily reliant on one object. His weapon. He has basically revolved his entire fighting style around his transforming spear that if he ever lost it in combat he would be incapable of winning. His weapon is basically an extension of himself, a piece of his soul. If he were to ever lose it he would be incomplete.
Talents: Jackson is heavily proficient in his weapon of choice, the Spear and Shield. Unlike some Demi-gods he does not possess extraordinary attributes such as superhuman feats but he is able to perform at a humans peak for an extended period of time and what he lacks in power he makes up for in technique. Not many know this but Jackson is also an above average cook and takes solace in preparing meals.
Weapons: A retractable spear with 4 adjustment settings. The first adjustment is a standard cylinder made of black iron and decorated with an ivory goat horn symbol. The second adjustment extends to a meter short spear with a diamond shaped tip. The third adjustment extends an additional meter(2 m) long spear. The forth adjustment transforms the entire weapon into an Aspis, a Greek circular shield designed to protect the neck - thigh area. The retracted form of this weapon is always carried on Jax's person.
Fighting Style: Unlike other Demi-gods who share a single persona of their God Parents abilities Jackson actually adopts talents from both his Greek AND Roman adaptations. Whilst sparring among friends he first comes of arrogant and confident in his skills which result in him allowing various openings in his stance. If he finds he struggles against an opponent he then adopts the influence of his Fathers Roman counterpart Mars who is revered for his structure and battle strategy. His fighting becomes less erratic and slowly more precise.

Under god parent you put Mars and in the bio you put Ares. We use Greek here, so for the rest, you're saying that he's a child of Ares who likes to take on his Roman qualities, correct?

Oh okay, strictly Greek. I wasn't quite sure if you would allow their Roman counterparts. If it is at possible I would like to incorporate Mars into my character. He would be predominantly revolved around Ares but still have access to the traits of Mars. I was hoping that instead of being granted some power he could have the ability to "switch" personas much like Ares does when switching to Mars. Does this make sense?
