Brief History: Jake is from a small town in the mountains of Colorado. He lived there with his mom and he had a perfectly happy, almost normal life. Well, except for his odd knack for building impossible things and the odd creature or two. In a series of unimportant events, Jake ended up at Camp Half-Blood. He wasn't a happy camper. He managed to make some lasting friends though, and quickly learned the ropes. Over the years, he's come to be a respected member of the camp, for his skills in the forge, in battle and with other campers. Since he Camp Half-Blood became a necessary thing, his mom moved to an apartment in New Jersey with his dog, Thor. It's a rare sight to see Jake at camp when it isn't summer, since he prefers to go to school and to spend time with his family.

Physical Appearance: Jake is a normal looking guy, not tall and not short. He has dirty blond hair and blue eyes. He normally wears his green jacket when walking around, even if it gets a bit hot. It's mainly for the sake of having more pockets to put things in. He has some muscles, but nothing to brag about.

Personality: Jake is terribly stubborn and impulsive. He'll boldly say his mind and jump right into things without a thought for the consequences until later. Fortunately, he's witty enough to get out of the hole he digs himself into. Once he sets his mind on something, it will take nothing short of an army to change it... or you know, a better idea. He doesn't like to let things fall flat and will finish what he starts. That might be one of the reasons why he's such a loyal friend. He's friendly enough, ignoring his accidental offenses, but it takes a lot for him to really count someone as a friend. However, once you do- you've got a friend for life.

Fatal Flaw: Determinator and Stubborn: Jake has never been one for giving up anything. Ever. While this can be a good thing, he often takes it further than he should. He doesn't like to shift gears, so to speak, and won't back down easily from something he's already committed to. If he's committed to a friend, then he will to to any length to accommodating them, from not burdening them with his problems to literally taking the bullet for them. If he's started a project, expect not to see him anywhere but his forge until it's done. He'll skip meals, sleeping, and even showers to continue the idea he had and making it work to its full potential. If he's committed to a cause... well, you get the picture. Expect him to jump into the fray taking the hits... and not showering.

Talents: Making things... out of nearly anything. He has Hephestus's Fire.
Weapons: He uses a plain sword whenever he can, but has a back-up switchblade in his pocket. His main trademark is his round shield that comes out of a pocketwatch.
Other: Oh, and did I mention that he befriended a hellhound named Ty? And now he is the master of a giant automation of awesome.
