The second she finished, Wes reached out, grabing Kris's wrist. She managed to get out through a groan, "stay."

Kris smiled and grabbed a chair, sitting by Wes. "Okay"

Satisfied, Wes dropped her hand, tucking it in against her belly.

Wes ends up somehow falling into a light sleep, despite the throbing pain.

Kris changed the ice pack. She stroked Wes's hair.

Wes could somewhat feel Kris's hand brush up against her in her light rest. The empty void she saw occasionally let in random mixtures of colors, and her mind was playing her first composition perfectly, matching the random colors.

As the night grows late, Kris falls asleep in the chair laying her head down on Wes's bed.

When the morning comes around, Wes's eyes fluttered open. She starts to sit up, but the head rush reminds her of the bruise, and she lowers her head back down.

Kris wakes up and looks at Wes. She sleepily says, "You alright?"

"er...maybe. help me up?" Wes holds her hand out to Kris.

Kris stands up, taking Wes's hand, helping her up.

Using Kris's hand for support, Wes swings her legs over the bed, and was able to stand, alomost falling down once she got completly off the bed.
