How Much Have You Improved?
So here's one of the very first posts I ever made here:
and Now:
I think I've improved. What about you guys?
- Most early post:
- Lily wakes up on her bunk, changes into a pink shirt and pants then heads out of the cabins.
and Now:
- this morning's post:
- "Um......well...."Lily stammered slightly. Out of camp? That would be her first outing in about........four years or so.
"I think that's a little too much. Maybe at the woods? Or maybe here? It's your choice.....just don't make it that far," she added a little nervously. Was Lily scared of the big, wide, world outside? Of course. Why do you think she turned down the offer to go to a boarding school?
Everything would remind her of.....him.
She reached behind her locks and brought out the camp necklace. On it, were four beads and a mood ring. A cheap one, probably, but it meant the world to her.
"I'm not very.......ready to get out yet....." she said, eyes clouding as she looked down at the mood ring, which showed a shade of navy blue.
I think I've improved. What about you guys?

The earliest post I could find:
From Oct. 2009:
Jake starts topics pretty much the same way, with this in 2012:
Seriously, most of my topics with him either start with him laying down or doing forge stuff.
Anyway, if I wanted to post a more detailed and meaningful one, here's an unofficial Jake topic:
I can remember the days when I used to roleplay chat-style. *shudders* XP
From Oct. 2009:
- Oct 2009:
- "Jake laid down on the Hephaestus table bench.
No one else was out there yet, and he hadn't gotten around to reforging his sword yet, so the forest was out."
Jake starts topics pretty much the same way, with this in 2012:
- Mar 2012:
- "Jake way laying down in the grass by the shore, nearly falling asleep. Working several nights in a row were finally taking a toll on him. He smiled a bit to himself at the silhouette of the bronze dragon flying in the sky. At least Agamemnon was finished now. The sun was warm on the crisp, cool winter day. He'd have to go back to school soon. He felt rather bad that he didn't have much of a chance to spend time with his mom at home this break. The guardian had taken too much of a priority, and that wasn't something that could be built in an apartment.
Ty rested his large head beside Jake. He rubbed the hellhound's muzzle, starting to drift off."
- Dec 2013:
- "Jake laid across a currently empty bench, early for the ceremony.
This summer felt like it had gone on forever, but maybe that was partially because he had spent more time at camp working than any of the years past. The tables were set up on the stage with the bags of beads for each cabin. They were decorated with a shield that resembled the Shield of Achilles that had been recovered, but each layer was adorned with events of the current summer instead. It was a neat design, though Jake couldn't remember who came up with it.
He tossed a small stone up in the air and caught it, occupying himself until more people arrived."
Seriously, most of my topics with him either start with him laying down or doing forge stuff.
Anyway, if I wanted to post a more detailed and meaningful one, here's an unofficial Jake topic:
- Not So Romantic, 2013:
- "Jake stuck a cookie in his mouth as he walked back to where he had left Ri. He was still grumbling to himself for being so paranoid. It was one thing to be paranoid about danger and death, but relationships? Obviously something kept Ri around, since they were celebrating a year together. He looked at the vaulted ceiling that had stray balloons bouncing towards the peak. He didn't think the celebration was going particularly well, but it wasn't that bad, was it?
He shook his head again to answer his own question and clear his head. He took a sip from his punch cup to ease his nerves a bit. He looked around to see where Daquiri had gotten off to.
After all they'd been through, it wasn't like she was just going to run off with the first nicely dressed pretty boy....
that... was... dancing with her.
Jake blinked a couple times at the dance floor. He thought he had made a mistake at first, but it wasn't possible to mistake anyone else for her. He stood there staring for a bit longer, probably looking like half the idiot he felt at the moment. He worked his jaw for a moment, then set it.
He set down the drinks and snack at nearest table, then walked out onto the dance floor. His shoulders were square and he stood much straighter than he usually did. Jake slipped between other dancers straight out to where Ri and PrettyBoy were.
What he wanted to do was just deck PrettyBoy here and now.
But, he remembered his manners.
"May I cut in?"
Okay, well he remembered the words, but the tone was tight and anything but polite."

...yeah, pretty sure the only thing that's changed is Ri swears more and likes to threaten killing people. >.<
If you guys wanna see some of my FIRST writing, I'd have to go dig back to 2009...
- Very First Post:
- "Ugh." Daquiri groaned as she sat up, a hand to her head. What happened? All she could remember was being attacked by the most horrifying monster she'd ever seen, then seeing that weird goat-legged guy, then...nothing.
Rubbing her eyes, Daquiri looked around her. Where the heck was she? As far as she could tell, she was in some kind of infirmary. It didn't look like a hospital, but then, for all she knew she could be in the middle of the ocean.
Looking down, she gave herself a quick examination. She last remembered wearing her jean romper with her brown boots and a floral-print top underneath. Now, she donned a painfully bright orange T-shirt that clashed with her hair, as well as a pair of distastefully ripped jean shorts. Her feet were bare. She grimaced at the thought of someone stripping her naked to put on these new clothes.
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps alerted her. Swinging her legs off of the cot she was laying on, her hand immediately went to her left thigh for her dagger--only to discover that nothing was there. Cursing, Daquiri grabbed the nearest thing that could pass as a weapon--which just so happened to be a bow that hadn't been strung.
Wait a second.
What was a bow doing in a--?
- Almost-Most Recent Post:
- It was late. Now that the summer was practically over, the sun was setting sooner and it was getting darker quicker. Dark as it was, the Arena was lit up with the slightly eerie light of the Greek fire torches as Daquiri sharpened Blood Beauty for the umpteenth time. Satisfied with the edges of the blade, she set the honing rod back down and examined her dagger for a moment. Its bronze blade gleamed in the greenish light and she ran a thumb over the indentations on the hilt like she had been ever since they’d been magically zapped there. It was weird, knowing that her—shudder—mother had put the words there. Almost like it was some kind of letter she’d received after a lifetime of thinking she was dead.
Shaking her head, Daquiri whipped the dagger across the room into a wooden dummy without a second thought. Mother or not, Aphrodite wasn’t her idea of a person—or goddess, whatever—that she’d want to get to know better. It had taken the goddess more than a week to claim her as her own daughter and it had been several weeks since then—and Daquiri hadn’t heard a peep from her. Not to say that she wanted to talk to her mother, but, seriously? She didn’t even have the decency to poof down in a sprinkle of magic dust so Daquiri could chew her out and ignore her for the rest of her life? Talk about rude parental negligence.
Striding across the dirt floor of the Arena, the red-head tugged Blood Beauty out of the dummy with one jerk before sending it in a slashing path diagonally across the chest. A deep scar rutted through the wood; not deep enough to cut anything in half, but it sure would’ve been one h*** of a death blow. Or at the least, it would’ve created a nice pool of blood.
The Love Goddess still on her mind, Daquiri continued to attack the dummy through a series of stabs and slashes, not stopping for a moment to even dab away the delicate sheen of perspiration forming on her forehead. Now that she was at a camp that encouraged hacking away at inanimate objects with sharp sticks, she might as well use it to her advantage and burn off some steam.
Zeus knew a journal entry wasn’t going to cut it.

Re: How Much Have You Improved?
My first RP post... was a mistake. Posted without getting approved xD
In reality, my last post was: ((I can.)) but in roleplay:
Eh... Doesn't *surprisingly* seem different much. A bit longer, except all my other posts are painfully short... heh.
It doesn't feel that different anymore, except for the fact that the first post said "Sylvania" and the next "Syl".
- FIRST ROLEPLAY POST:
Sylvania carefully walked inside the cabin.
"Am I... allowed here?" She asked, trying not to be rude.
Oops. Okay. Thanks. I did fill out an application and then started to look around.
Thanks for the advice

- LAST ROLEPLAY POST:
- Syl had already heard a few demigods coming to Windy Hills Prep.
She lugged her bags to her dorm and wondered who had come. She didn't know what she was doing in school - maybe it'd be a good experience. Cheesy.
And not likely.
Was it experiencing enough being at camp and facing monsters? Probably yes.
It escalated quickly, with her scanning the room, organizing her necessities, checking the beds. Then walking out.
Where to go?
Class didn't start until later. She could visit the courtyard.
In the courtyard, there was a fence that had a sign saying "Do not climb" and Axel, Lily and Jake.
Eh... Doesn't *surprisingly* seem different much. A bit longer, except all my other posts are painfully short... heh.

- First Post:
- Andrew walked up to the lake hand in hand with Alexis he then asked her "So what are we going to do. Just canoeing or something else."
- Recent Post:
- Andrew walked up the steps of the amphitheater where he would be getting his 2nd bead. Had it only been 2 years since he had join this world he knew today? It had felt like a life time since he had the life of a regular mortal; when he wasn't troubled with monsters and gods.
He semi wished he could go back to that life but after going through the doors of the building and seeing all the friendly faces he wouldn't give it up for anything.
Andrew heard Lily's remark, "We finally agree on something!" He smiled and waved at the group from a distance. "So all I got was how anger management classes wouldn't help Kris or Lily. What'd I miss?"
