Axel woke up in the infirmary. "Well that could have gone better" he said to himself. obviously he had been outmatched which hurt his ego to admit. i suppose i should train if i want to beat the experienced oponnents here. Axel thought. still he remembered passing out after getting hit by that dart. Axel never would have admitted it to anyone, but from the beginning he thought he would lose, he had not really started training yet, but then he couldnt resist the challenge.

Cat was fine with the infirmary - as long as she wasn't the one in the bed. As it was, she was perfectly fine, free and not confined to the uncomfortable mattresses inside the little Camp Half-Blood sick bay.

 She wondered how often the infirmary were used. As far as she could tell, the campers here needed it often, with their lava-covered, clashing rock walls, and their woods, which her cabin-mates had claimed were deliberately stocked with monsters... Did they have death wishes? Probably.

 She hated to admit it, but being one of them, she would have to familiarize herself with the infirmary some time soon; she'd prefer to do so without putting her own life in extreme danger. She could do that later.

 She gazed around, and set her sights on a familiar boy on one of the beds. Axel, the new(er) kid. He had been claimed as a child of Hermes in the Big House, right in front of her, after he had stolen and given back her iPod Nano... which had also been right in front of her, but she still somehow missed it. She wasn't sure how she felt about him. She had more or less gotten over the whole incident - after all, he had returned it, which counted for something. But she was still on her guard. The kid was way too good at pick-pocketing.

 She stuffed her hands in her pockets as she approached him. "Already getting yourself knocked out, I see," she said casually. She looked him over; there didn't seem to be any major wounds. Her curiosity got the better of her. "What happened?"

Axel smiled when he saw Cat. "worried about me are you, i didnt know you cared." Axel saw she had her eyes on his hands and her hand was in her pocket, the girl was learning.

Cat smirked. "Just wondering why you're in here, considering the fact that you don't look too scratched up. I mean, you clearly didn't crash and burn on the climbing wall," she pointed out.

[Axel The Bunny]

"well i got stuck with a dart by some girl with black hair, we were sparing." Axel looked at the girl she was smirking. "this place has some pretty extreme people dont you think, and i dont crash and burn when it comes to climbing."

Cat raised an eyebrow. Stuck with a dart while sparring... Huh. That was a new one. She wondered who this girl was; the only black haired girl she remembered meeting so far was Estelle, the daughter of Athena with the owl named Acacia.
 She nodded in agreement when Axel spoke of how there were some pretty extreme people here (it wasn't even a question), then smiled when he said he didn't crash and burn at climbing. "Sorry, I spoke incorrectly. But, ah, to be fair, the climbing wall is designed to make people crash and burn. Literally."

Axel smiled at the thought of a climbing challenge, he had been doing parkour and freerunning his entire life, even one time during an earthquake he remembered. "believe me when i say that that cant stop me. if there is one thing i am as good at as i am at stealing, its climbing." Axel smiled at the idea of a climbing challenge

[Estelle]

'Yeah.' Estelle walked into the infirmary, clutching a badly wounded arm. Blood was leaking through the hastily bandaged wound. The medics rushed at her, but she waved them away. 'I think I can cope with this alone,' she said. They nodded, they had seen her skills. She expertly cleaned out the wound, but let a medic stitch it up for her. She put a bandage around it so that the stitches won't fall off. The stupid Cyclopes.. If he had a better aim, she could have evaded the blow..

She had been out in the woods during the encounter. Funny, she had been able to predict where the rock was going to land before he released it, but it..slipped. The rock spiraled out of control, slightly hitting her arm. Ironical, how knowledge became the cause of her injury. She still killed the Cyclopes, though. Even with an injured arm, Estelle could be scary.

'So you woke up.' Estelle finished bandaging and popped a can of Coke, taking a drink. 'Hey, Cat.'

Cat grinned knowingly at Axel. "Then you must be pretty good at it." She wondered if she'd be able to make it. Probably not on the first try. But the next... Challenge accepted, she thought.

 She turned and saw Estelle enter, her arm bandaged and bloody. She watched curiously as she skillfully cleaned the cut, and as a medic stitched it up for her.
 "So you woke up," Estelle said to Axel as she popped open a can of Coca-Cola. "Hey, Cat."

 Cat looked at Axel, then back at the raven-haired girl, connecting the dots quickly. "Hi. You did this?" she asked, nodding to Axel.

[Estelle]

Estelle half-grinned. 'Yeah, how on Earth did you guess?' she smirked slightly. 'He was asking for it,' she added in a playful manner.

[Axel The Bunny]

well i cant really deny that, but just so you know, next time that trick wont work on me." Axel looked at the girl her arm was bandaged but the wound looked recent not like it had happened during the fight, at the arena "i forgot to ask you your name by the way."

[Estelle]

'Estelle,' Estelle looked at him. 'And it will, actually. Just ask a few more people and you'll do better than saying those promises again,' she drank some more.

[Catryn Greyling]

Cat watched the two talk a bit more about their duel, then spoke up. "Axel said you used a dart...?" She raised an eyebrow inquisitively at Estelle.

[Estelle]

'Yeah,' Estelle replied, 'I use darts, too. Make concoctions. Adrenaline. Poison. Sedatives. Antidotes.'

[Axel The Bunny]

this girl Estelle obviously had been here awhile. but the only reason she had hit Axel was because he had seen the dart too late. if he had known about them before he could have easily taken them during the fight. regardless he would have to train himself especially against projectiles like that. "well we will see but personally im not looking to try just yet maybe in a few months, i haven't actually started training yet. and if your so good then how did you end up in here anyway Estelle."

[Estelle]

Estelle shrugged. 'Orphanage. Running. Satyr,' she didn't go very deep into her past; no one cared. She didn't care, either.

[Axel The Bunny]

"I meant the infirmary actually, but that story does sound familiar." Axel said he could tell the girl didnt want to go into her past and he didnt feel like making it an issue. especially since Axel himself had grown up in foster homes and knew better than to ask about peoples pasts. Axel started to get up and looked for his knife and his sword, which would be in keychain form by now. He saw them and his jacket next to his bed and picked them up.

[Estelle]

'It was a stupid Cyclopes that was too lucky for his own good,' Estelle spat. 'He got me by making a pure mistake. If he had better aim, I would have dodged it as easily as hacking into a bank.' She glared at the direction of the woods for a moment.

[Axel The Bunny]

'hacking into a bank? personally i prefer more hands on stealing, but i cyclops making a mistake causing you to get hit?" he couldnt help but smirk slightly, "maybe you need to be more adaptable"

[Estelle]

'There's a natural force called the rain, boy,' Estelle said, raising an eyebrow. 'And I am apt at adapting, thank you very much.' The boy didn't know her. Newbies were like that.. at first.
